Dozens of EdTech enthusiasts gathered Sep 3rd in Tel Aviv for the selection of the Israeli startup that will represent Israel at the Global EdTech Startup Awards (GESA) in London in January 2019. Ten Israeli startups were selected to pitch to a panel of judges from Israel and international experts.
The Global EdTech Startup Awards is an initiative led by a group of leading education innovation organizations from across the world. Semifinals will take place in 10 more locations (Tokyo, Guangzhou, Paris, Helsinki, Frankfurt, Cape Town, Boston, California, Mexico, Brazil).
The winner of the Israeli GESA semifinals is MIST. Founded 2017, MIST offers a platform that turns book reading on smartphones into an exciting experience enabling readers not only to imagine, but also to see and hear what the writer was envisaging.
The second runner up was Cybint, a cyber education company, providing learning & training products across the cyber security spectrum. ExamPAL, provider of online personalized test prep solutions reached the 3rd place at the Israeli semifinals of GESA.
